How to read relationships
with Four Pillars

What a benefactor actually is, how the Heavenly Noble star is determined, and whether a Wonjin pairing is really doomed — the exact rules this reading uses, written out.

How to find the benefactors around you

You only need your birth date and theirs. Reading from your Day Master, the system compares the Ten Gods, the Heavenly Noble star and the branch harmonies and clashes to judge whether someone lifts your fortune or drains it. Four steps.

  1. Set your own chart as the baseline

Enter your birth date and time (optional). Your Day Master represents you and anchors every judgment.

  2. Compare the other person's birth date

The reading checks the Ten God relation, whether they carry your Heavenly Noble, whether day branches harmonise or clash, and which element they supply.

  3. Read the five-grade verdict

Heaven-sent Benefactor, Ally, Neutral Tie, Energy Drain or Clashing Fate — plus scores for money, career, mind and love.

  4. Invite by link when you don't know their birthday

Create a Benefactor Map, send the link, and each friend enters their own date to be inked onto your map.

Four Pillars glossary

Heavenly Noble (天乙貴人)
The most auspicious star in Four Pillars. Ties carrying it tend to open doors at decisive moments.
Day Master (日干)
The heavenly stem of your birth day — it represents you, and every relationship reading starts here.
Ten Gods (十星)
The ten ways two charts can relate: resource, wealth, officer, output, peer and their variants.
Wonjin (怨嗔)
A friction pattern that builds resentment without an obvious cause. Distance helps.
Six Harmony / Trine (六合·三合)
Branch relations that attract and reinforce — calming company, or real synergy at work.
Clash (沖)
Branches that collide head-on. The closer the tie, the sharper the friction.
Benefactor Map
A relationship map you build by inviting friends through a link. You sit at the centre; the stronger the benefactor, the closer to the bullseye they are inked.
Unfavourable element (忌神)
The element that suppresses your chart. People carrying a lot of it tend to leave you tired.
Useful god (用神)
The element your chart is missing. Someone who supplies it tends to make things go your way.
Luck cycle (大運)
The ten-year current that shapes your fortune. It is what you read when you want the timing of a benefactor.

FAQ

How do I find the lucky people around me?

Enter your birthday and your friends’ birthdays. Using Four Pillars astrology (the Ten Gods, the Heavenly Noble star, branch relations and the five elements), we judge for free who helps your fortune and who drains your energy — right in the browser, no app or signup.

Is it free? What about my data?

The reading, the ranking and the share cards are all free. Birth dates are processed only in your browser and never sent or stored.

What if I don’t know someone’s birth time?

No problem — the reading uses the year, month and day pillars. Adding a birth time makes it more precise.

What does 'benefactor' mean in Four Pillars astrology?

A benefactor (귀인, gwiin) is someone whose chart supplies what yours lacks and who opens doors at decisive moments. The Heavenly Noble star (天乙貴人) is the single most auspicious of these — a tie carrying it tends to show up exactly when you need help.

How is the Heavenly Noble star determined?

It is read from your Day Master — the heavenly stem of your birth day — which designates specific earthly branches as noble. This reading only counts it when that branch sits in the other person's day pillar, so the result stays rare and meaningful.

Does a Wonjin clash mean the relationship is doomed?

No. Wonjin (怨嗔) is a pattern of friction that arises without an obvious cause. Knowing it is there usually helps — people react less emotionally once they can name what is happening.

How is this different from a couple's compatibility reading?

Compatibility readings look at two partners. This reading covers friends, coworkers and family too, and answers a different question: what role does this person play in your fortune?

Does the name affect the reading?

No. The name is only a label so you can tell results apart. Every judgment comes from the birth date and time. Name-based divination is a separate discipline.

Can the same person get different grades?

Yes. The verdict depends on whose chart is asking. A benefactor is not an absolute trait — it is defined by the relationship between two charts.

Where can I take a free benefactor test?

Right here. Open gwiin.myfateseer.com, enter your birthday and up to ten friends’ birthdays, and you get every verdict plus a benefactor ranking — no payment, no install, no signup.

When will I meet a benefactor in my life?

Four Pillars tradition says a benefactor arrives when your ten-year luck cycle brings in the element your chart lacks. This tool answers a narrower question — which of the people already around you is that benefactor. For timing, check the luck cycles in a full LotusSaju reading.

Can Four Pillars tell me who drains my energy?

Yes. When someone’s chart piles onto the element that suppresses yours, or your day branches clash, harm or sit in Wonjin, meetings tend to leave you flat. Those ties come back as the “Energy Drain” grade here.

Can I check compatibility with a coworker or my boss?

Yes. Choose “coworker” as the relationship and the reading weights the career and money areas more heavily. In non-romantic ties the Ten God structure — officer, wealth, resource — usually shows up more clearly than in love readings.

How do I create a Benefactor Map and invite friends?

Open “Create a Benefactor Map,” enter your birthday, and you get a link. Send it to a friend, they enter their own birth date, and they are inked onto your map automatically. It is the easy path when you don’t know someone’s birthday.

Can I share a result page with the person I read?

Yes. “Copy link” on the result screen copies a URL that opens that exact verdict for whoever you send it to. You can also save the result as an image card for social media.

What do the Ten Gods say about a relationship?

The Ten Gods describe the ten ways your Day Master and theirs can relate: resource stars nurture you, wealth stars are what you handle, officer stars discipline you, output stars are how you express yourself, and peer stars stand alongside you. Together they name the role that person plays in your life.
